Sydney Libert '26 began as a Stewardship Intern at the UI Center for Advancement (UICA) and, upon completing her summer internship, accepted a role as Alumni and Donor Engagement Student Clerk for her final academic year at Iowa.

Mackenzie Fenwick '26 served as the Corporate and Community Development Intern in the University of Iowa Center for Advancement’s (UICA) 2025 Summer Internship Cohort. She was one of just 8 students selected from more than 100 applicants to serve as the Corporate and Community Development Intern at the UICA during summer 2025.

NLP partnership with UICA exposes students to the fundraising and philanthropy profession and often leads to internships and post-graduation employment.

NLP proudly celebrated its 2025-2026 scholarship recipients. Seven students earn scholarships for the summer and school year.

Three NLP students earned the Philanthropy Studies Scholarship for the 2024-2025 school year. The scholarship is awarded to students in the NLP Certificate who are exemplify a commitment to community engagement and nonprofit service.
