AFP Collegiate Chapter at Iowa
The Association of Fundraising Professionals Collegiate Chapter (AFPCC) at Iowa exists to give University of Iowa students the resources, experience, and knowledge to pursue a career in the nonprofit sector. As a student organization, we strive to connect with students who have a passion for philanthropy and empower them to promote change through fundraising best practices. You can learn more about the chapter and how to join at afpcc.org.uiowa.edu.
Hawkeye Service Breaks
The Nonprofit Leadership and Philanthropy Certificate sponsors a Hawkeye Service Breaks class and trip each spring. The past few years, the trip to Milwaukee has been focused on Urban Housing. The University of Iowa's Hawkeye Service Breaks program exists to promote service-learning, social justice, and community building to University of Iowa students through a service immersion experience.
