How did your NM certificate help you get to where you are today?

Specifically, my Nonprofit Management Certificate has given me a full 360-degree view of the nonprofit world. From event planning, marketing, grant writing, and board governance I am equipped with the skills to best perform my daily duties in my career. The Nonprofit Management certificate has allowed me, as a career professional, to know a little about a lot. This ability sets me above the rest in my field and has allowed me to advance the mission of the organization that I work for.

What career advice do you have for current NLP students?

Expand your mind! When possible, apply for business internships and find a career mentor. Real-world experience will set you up for success and will lessen the skills gap.
